The short version: it's real balance, it works on everything we make, it lasts 12months, and it can't be turned into cash.

Who issues this card
Memocult gift cards are issued by Memocult and can be used only at memocult.com, for Memocult's own products.
This is not a bank instrument
This gift card is a closed system prepaid instrument issued for the purchase of goods from Memocult only. It is not a prepaid payment instrument requiring authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India, and is not regulated or supervised by the RBI.
No cash, no transfers
A gift card cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded to a bank account, or transferred to another account or person once its balance has been claimed. It cannot be used anywhere other than Memocult.
How long it lasts
A gift card is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued. The expiry date is shown on the card and in the email we send. Any unused balance is forfeited after that date. We will remind you 30 days and 7 days before it expires. If your card has just expired, write to us — we look at these case by case.
Spending it
You do not have to spend it all at once. The balance stays on your account and comes off automatically at checkout until it runs out or expires. If your order costs more than your balance, you pay the difference.
Claiming it
You need a Memocult account to claim a gift card, because the balance has to live somewhere. Anyone holding the code can claim it, so treat it like cash and only share it with the person it is meant for. Once claimed, the balance belongs to that account.
Not reloadable
A gift card is issued for a fixed amount and cannot be topped up. Buy another one instead.
Refunds and cancellation
Gift cards cannot be cancelled or refunded once delivered. If a card was issued in error, or you believe a purchase was fraudulent, contact us and we will investigate.
GST
No GST is charged on the purchase of a gift card. GST is charged on the products you buy when the card is redeemed, at the rate applicable to those products. You will get a receipt when you buy a card, and a full tax invoice when you spend it.
Using it with offers
A gift card is a way of paying, not a discount. It works alongside promo codes: the code comes off the price first, and your balance covers what is left. Promo codes cannot be used to buy a gift card.
Amounts
Gift cards can be bought for any amount between ₹250 and ₹10,000.
Lost or shared codes
A gift card code is a bearer instrument: whoever has it can spend it. We cannot recover a balance that someone else has claimed, and we are not liable for a code that is lost, forwarded, or posted somewhere public.
Questions and complaints
Write to support@memocult.com. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within a month.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
